SAD NEWS
It is with considerable regret that we must utilize our homepage to communicate Sad news to our visitors, members, and the broader community. We cant believe that the charitable "community" hub Hemlington Recreation Centre, after fulfilling our agreed rental obligations for over ten months , Have informed us that our rent will be increased by more than 125% !!! without any notice. This substantial increase renders it financially impossible for us to continue to provide the services we have offered for the past 16 months. But in accordance with their required notice period, we will remain open for a limited time to try and generate sufficient funds to meet the heightened rental demands during this notice period. As many of our visitors and members are aware, our primary objective has never been profit-driven. Rather, we aimed to create a welcoming environment for the safe use of airguns, trying to keep them off the streets in our surrounding community and as a space for both novice, experienced, young and old shooters alike to engage with one another and foster a sense of community within our beloved sport. We believe we were achieving this goal, and provided positive experiences for our visitors.

Thursday: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Both Phil and I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our visitors and members for their patronage during our time of operation. We have genuinely enjoyed our interactions with each of you and hope that we have fulfilled our intent to create a positive fun experience at the range. We will sincerely miss our visitors, as they have contributed as much to the range as we have.
We invite you to visit us during this final period, where we can confirm the winners of our challenges (though we all know Bob may not be among them as he cheats ) and personally express our appreciation for your support over the past year.

Airgun Law
YOUR GUN IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Airgun laws that govern rifles and pistols in the UK are very simple BUT very strict. Failure to adhere to them and committing offences can lead to confiscation of your gun and can carry a custodial sentence.
Our range only covers sub 12ftlb rifles and sub 6ftlb pistols that can be held without certification. Anything with a greater power output are governed by firearms laws and must be held under a firearms certificate. we reserve the right to chronograph any gun before its used on our range for safety and to keep within the law.

Your rifle/pistol is YOUR responsibility to ensure that it is within the permitted power levels. We offer a cheap chronograph service, which tests your guns power and emails your results to you so you have a date stamp and proof of compliance and responsible gun ownership. Just bring your gun along and your normal pellets of use.
